BLOODY BROTHERHOOD was born in Gipuzkoa, Spain in 2011. The band was formed by veteran musicians from the country’s Underground scene, and heavily influenced by old school American Death Metal (Obituary, Deicide), and the Swedish scene (Unleashed, Entombed). A lethal combination to say the least.
In 2012 they presented their first demo “Bloody Brotherhood”, generating great expectations in the Death Metal media. It is also worth noting that the band participated in a national tribute to VOMITORY, included was their cover of the song “Hate In A Time Of War”. This cover would later appear on an international tribute album to VOMITORY, BLOODY BROTHERHOOD was selected out of 300 bands from around the world to appear on the tribute album.
After various national tours, the band records their first album, 2015’s “Ritual Of Blood”. Some of these songs were used on various compilation albums, like “SPAIN DEATH METAL Vol1”. The band and thier material was very well received by the national and international press alike, ending up on the covers of various fanzines, the famous Columbian publication ORACULO or Spain’s Subterraneo Webzine, among others. On this tour they shared the stage with SINISTER, BLOOD RED THRONE, PENTAGRAM CHILE, OBSCURA, WORMED, KARONTE, AVULSED, APOSENTO, ANGELUS APATRIDA, and CRISIX.
In 2017 they recorded “Alliance For Death Domination” a 10” EP they split with Cantabrian band KARONTE, and included two new songs. At that time, they also recorded a video for the track “Thousand Years Of Lies”.
Now it is time for “Don’t Break The Circle”, a new full length album in which you can hear a more mature version of BLOODY BROTHERHOOD. They have crafted longer and more elaborate compositions, with more mid-tempos, they lay their foundations on the roots of the most primitive forms of Death Metal. The future opens before the brotherhood of blood.
BLOODY BROTHERHOOD nace en Gipuzkoa, España en 2011. Creado por veteranos músicos de la escena Underground del país y fuertemente influenciados tanto por la vieja escuela Americana de Death Metal (Obituary, Deicide...), como por la escuela Sueca ( Unleashed, Entombed). Una mezcla letal.
En 2012 presentaron su primera demo “Bloody Brotherhood”, generando gran expectación en los medios. También es digna de mención su participación en la grabación del CD tributo nacional a VOMITORY con la canción “Hate in a time of war”, elegida más tarde entre versiones de más de 300 bandas de todo el mundo, para aparecer en otro CD tributo, esta vez de carácter internacional.
Tras varias giras por el país, graban su primer álbum “Ritual of blood” en 2015. Algunos de estos temas fueron publicados en diversas recopilaciones, como el “SPAIN DEATH METAL Vol1”, muy bien recibido por la prensa especializada, tanto nacional como internacional; llegando incluso a ser portada en varios fanzines como el afamado ORACULO de Colombia o Subterraneo Webzine en España entre otros. En estas giras han compartido escenario con bandas como SINISTER, BLOOD RED THRONE, PENTAGRAM CHILE, OBSCURA, WORMED, KARONTE, AVULSED, APOSENTO o ANGELUS APATRIDA, CRISIX.
Ya en 2017 graban "Alliance for death domination", un 10" EP compartido con los cántabros KARONTE, en el que incluyen dos temas nuevos, realizando para tal ocasión el video “Thousand years of lies”.
Ahora es el tiempo de “Don´t break the circle”, un nuevo larga duración en el que se puede escuchar a unos BLOODY BROTHERHOOD más maduros, creando temas más largos, elaborados y con más medios tempos, asentando sus bases en las raíces del Death Metal más primigénio. El futuro se abre ante la hermandad de sangre.
